The Agents for Citizen-driven Transformation (ACT) Programme developed this toolkit as a guideline to support CSOs to advocate for the rights of the Nigerian civil society. It is relevant to those CSOs that are focusing on a specific advocacy issue and are considering developing an advocacy project, or looking to integrate advocacy activities into a wider development programme.
This is not a plan, training manual or handbook. The toolkit aims to provide guidance to those CSOs who have some knowledge of advocating for change with their constituent communities.
