The insurgency by Jama'atuAhlis Sunna Lidda'awatiwal-Jihad, commonly known as Boko Haram, has lasted for more than eleven years in Nigeria. There have been various efforts by the government, the international community and other actors to bring the insurgency to an end.

The Managing Conflict in Nigeria (MCN) programme commissioned this research from the Center for Information, Technology and Development to generate ideas on how the government can address the conflict and end the insurgency.
