The COVID-19 pandemic and related government response measures have gravely impacted Yobe, a state already experiencing high insecurity and violence, unequal gender power relations, and social exclusion.
The Managing Conflict in Nigeria (MCN) programme commissioned this paper on implications of the pandemic on conflict dynamics, gender roles and relations, and social inclusion in Yobe state to enable better adaptation and response.
