The COVID-19 pandemic and related government response measures have gravely impacted Adamawa, a state already experiencing high insecurity and violence, unequal gender power relations, and social exclusion. 

The Managing Conflict in Nigeria (MCN) programme commissioned this paper on implications of the pandemic on conflict dynamics, gender roles and relations, and social inclusion in Adamawa state to enable better adaptation and response.
