Create a community accountability forum
Building safe and secure communities requires good relationships between the voluntary policing sector, the police and communities. A community accountability forum, comprised of all parties, can help to jointly identify and address key security challenges. Its aim is to prevent crime and promote community cohesion. It can also serve as an open and transparent community complaint and resolution bureau.
